If you’re not familiar with Hotspots Vanuatu, we’re not shy to declare that we are the producers of the best map and discount vouchers in Vanuatu. We want you to make the most of your Vanuatu holiday and not have to harvest your organs to afford it, so we have put together a 5 day itinerary that makes use of every discount voucher we have. To make things super easy we’ve put the map number in brackets where ever possible. So explore and SAVE!

Firstly, you’re going to need some tough wheels for the trip. For Instagram worthy shots, book one of World Car Rental’s (37) mini mokes which come in a rainbow of colours or an SUV with Europcar (38) which both offer 15% discount with a Hotspots Voucher. World Car Rentals will deliver your vehicle to your accommodation too which means you can get going nice and early if you want.

Once you’ve got your transport sorted, you’ll need a great breakfast to start your day. Stop by Leaf Restaurant at Poppy’s on the Lagoon Resort (30) for 15% off your total bill. Their banana pancakes are to die for and you can enjoy them in their waterfront fare. Alternatively The Rossi (5) down on the seafront also has a great menu and a water view to match. Here you can get a free coffee or lime juice with any main course.

Time to hit the road!

Head east on the round island road. First stop will be Rarru Rentapao River (43). With your Hotspots Voucher you will receive your choice of a free fresh coconut water or a fresh fruit platter. Walk the easy, picturesque path along the river until you reach a picture perfect waterfall and swimming hole. If you’re a daredevil, launch yourself from the rope swing and jump off the top of the waterfall.

Say tata to the falls and continue heading east. Along the way you can stop at various well known sights including the Blue Hole and Eton Beach – all great swimming spots. This side of the island is mainly scenic, you will pass through many villages so be sure to keep your speed down and enjoy the waves and smiles of the locals. Stop at one of the roadside stalls for a snack. You’ll find all sorts of seasonal organic fruit and vegetables and the occasional handicraft. Grab a bunch of bananas to snack on during the trip.

Around the north of the island you will find other places of interest such as the Hot Springs and WWII Museum. If your stomach is grumbling about now, there are a number of lunch options on the North West side of the island. If you’re child free, stop at the adults only The Havannah (39) for a free cocktail with your lunch or a bit further down the road is Divi’s (57). You’ll receive free Tapas with your voucher and it is a beautiful, private place to snorkel. If you have children under 15 with you, then a great alternative is the family friendly Back to Eden (70).

Once you’ve had your fill and have been able to tear yourself away from your stunning lunch venue, continue along the main road. You will eventually find yourself at the top of Klems Hill which provides a stunning view of Mele Bay and Port Vila Harbour in the distance. Down the hill past Evergreen Mele Cascades you can stop at the Kava House (40) where you can sample some kava and receive 10% of a tour or store purchases.

On the road again and heading back towards town you can stop again for some free sampling of locally made Jams and Spirits at Vanuatu Craft (83)

Back in town it’s time to start thinking about sundowners and dinner.
Reefers (11) is the place for a fantastic free mojito while enjoying one of the best sunset views around or check out The Grand (7)  for a free Café Gourmand with any main course purchase. While you are there don’t forget a quick punt in the casino with your voucher for a free 500vt bet.
